sczech's assertion was called "trickle-down" theory during the Herbert Hoover administration. Since trickle-down theory was so thoroughly discredited, it's surprising sczech would even mention it.

I guess I failed to notice the "benefits" of the so-called Reagan Revolution. All I remember is that the tax reform act of 1986 really screwed working-class people like me. In retrospect, I can't believe I voted for that creep. The only thing I've noticed is that the real economy, as opposed to the never-never land that economists apparently live in, has gotten steadily worse since the mid-1960's.
