HOGs post inspired me to take my camera two doors up the hill from my home and photograph a house that WAS under construction. All activity ceased about two or three months ago. My next-door neighbor reports that a hole for the swimming pool was dug, rebar for the walls of the pool put in place---and then nothing, nothing that is until the rains came and now the rebar is rusty and the dirt walls of the pool are crumbling into the erstwhile old swimming hole. The very high garage door on the left is designed to accommodate a very high and very long RV.
In discussions with the owner/builder I was informed of all the energy saving built into the house, about the only real saving I could discern were task lights, apparently LED lights placed here and there. I held my tongue.
