Arrrgh -This one is personal!!! I ride the Red Line, & in the last 2 weeks there've been 2 electrical fires in stations I'd just left. On the days when it's not breaking down entirely, it's getting slower & slower. Even though this is a light traffic period since the schools on the line just let out, the normal 20 minute trip is taking 40 minutes. At least one elevator is broken about half the time. Rush hour trains are still so packed that people are left waiting for train after train; A/C is iffy enough that people have passed out, & the tracks around Harvard are so bad there's a 10mph speed limit.
No. Spare. Capacity.
